Hybrid CMS combines the ePaper and LED to leverage their advantages for CMS (Changeable Message Sign).

In the daytime, it uses ePaper to show the contents with high contrast and ultra-low power consumption, and it doesn't require a high-brightness LED to make it readable in sunlight.

Since the ambient light at nighttime is much lower than in the daytime, using the typical LED is enough to show the contents with lower power consumption.
